This week's edition of TIME magazine has a cover story on emerging trends and technology. The online version contains much -- but not all -- of the content. Despite the old cliche about trends already having passed before TIME covers them, this coverage is quite comprehensive, and highly up to date. Among the highlights is a story on the U.S. Government's Agricultural Research Service, which has developed innovations ranging from frozen vegetables to disposable diapers to environmentally friendly, renewable fuels.
Unfortunately, much of the online content is available only to TIME subscribers.
